My dad keeps hinting that I’ll trade in my PT Cruiser. Dude you’re gonna have to tear me away from it in the junkyard

I don’t even know what I’ll do when the Batmobile finally gives out. Probably cry, hold a wake, frame a picture of it on my wall

Black-eyed Leaf Frog - Agalychnis moreletii

Perhaps not as famous as its sister species Agalychnis callidryas, but Agalychnis moreletii (Hylidae) is certainly also a beautiful frog, although it is much more threatened. Agalychnis moreletii is a Critically Endangered and uncommon species native to Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. It is a nocturnal and arboreal species of medium size, where the female is larger than the male.

It is suspected that this frog populations could decline by 80% over the next 10 years for the high susceptibility of the species to chytridiomycosis. The fungus responsible for this disease affects the skin of frogs, causing adults can not breathe as well as deformation and developmental delays in tadpoles.
